BMTP GRADUATION ATTIRES – GOWNS POLICY

BMTP Graduation Attires is committed to providing high-quality graduation regalia for both hire and purchase. This policy sets out the terms and conditions governing the hiring and purchasing of gowns, hoods, caps, and accessories.

1. Hiring Policy

1.1 Booking & Payment

• Bookings must be made before the graduation date.

• A 50% deposit is required to secure the gown. The balance is payable upon collection.

• Proof of payment must be provided to confirm the booking.

1.2 Collection & Return

• Gowns can be collected 1 day before graduation or in the morning on the day of graduation.

• All hired items must be returned after the event at the agreed time unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late returns will attract a daily penalty fee of R200.

1.3 Care & Responsibility

• The client is responsible for the gown from the time of collection until its safe return.

• Gowns must not be altered, cut, ironed with direct heat, or washed.

• Any damage (tears, burns, permanent stains, missing buttons/zips, etc.) will incur repair/replacement costs.

1.4 Loss & Damage

• If a gown, cap, hood or any accessories is lost or irreparably damaged, the client will be liable for full replacement costs:

  • Gown: R950

  • Hood/Stole: R550

  • Cap: R300

2. Purchasing Policy

2.1 Orders & Payments

• Full payment is required before an order is processed.

• Custom orders (specific sizes, colors, embroidery, etc.) must be placed at least 3–4 weeks before graduation.

2.2 Exchanges & Refunds

• No refunds will be made once an order has been processed.

• Exchanges are only allowed for size adjustments, provided the gown is returned unworn and in original condition within 7 days of collection.

• Defective items will be replaced at no extra cost if reported within 48 hours of collection/delivery.

2.3 Delivery & Collection

• Clients may collect purchased gowns from our location or request delivery at an extra fee.

• BMTP Graduation Attires is not responsible for courier delays beyond our control.

3. General Provisions

• Clients must present proof of identity when collecting gowns.

• BMTP Graduation Attires reserves the right to decline service to clients who breach this policy.

• Prices are subject to change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will not be affected.

• By hiring or purchasing, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
